Buda Singh Tamang

My name is Buda Singh Tamang, and I am the founder of Argos Trekking Nepal (P) Ltd. I’ve been working as an English and French-speaking trekking guide in Nepal for over 25 years, and I’ve had the opportunity to guide in Nepal, Tibet, India, and Bhutan.

I started my journey in tourism at the age of 16, working as a porter. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with clients from all around the world, which helped me grow both professionally and personally. I come from Kerung, Solududhkunda Municipality–08, Solukhumbu, Nepal, the same district where the majestic Mount Everest stands.

For me, guiding is more than just a profession—it’s a passion. I am also deeply committed to giving back to my community. I’ve been actively involved in social work, especially in the areas of education and healthcare in my village and surrounding region.

I take great pride in being punctual, loyal, and helpful in every situation, whether on the trail or in the community. Since founding Argos Trekking Nepal at the end of 2012, my goal has always been to offer authentic, informative, and unforgettable experiences to my clients.
