Itinéraire du Trek

Although your official tour won’t start from this very day, we are including this day on the itinerary. Upon your arrival date, we will be receiving you at the Tribhuvan International Airport and dropping you off at your hotel. Later, we will again meet for a welcome dinner and then discuss the tour in detail. You will be spending your night in Kathmandu.

Kathmandu is the capital city of Nepal. With that, it is an ancient town inhabitant by the Newa people. A day of sightseeing in Kathmandu will help you understand at least a little bit about Nepal. Thus, we would go to Budhanilkantha at around 8 in the morning. Then, you will return to your hotel for breakfast.

After that, we will go to Patan for sightseeing. Following that, we will go to Basantapur Durbar Square. After that, we will go to Swyambhunath Stupa. You will find to hear some interesting stories here and a beautiful sunset too. You will return to your hotel for the night stay.

Today, you will head toward the most beautiful city in Nepal from the busiest city of Nepal. It will take approximately 6-7 hours to reach Pokhara via bus. You can choose to take a flight if you don’t want to waste your time on long bus journeys.

After reaching Pokhara, you will do some sightseeing at Gupteshwor Mahadeva temple, Devi’s fall, and Tibetan Refugee Camp. You can later choose to walk by the bank of the Phewa lake in the evening/night. You will spend your night at Pokhara.

As the previous day, you can choose to take a flight to Jomsom. But before taking a flight, you need to check the weather and flight schedules. Flights to Jomsom during the winter season are shut down. If the flight is not your option, then, you will go to Jomsom via jeep. On the way, you will explore Marpha village and monasteries along with the dead hills.

Jomsom is also a lively place. You will spend your night at Jomsom.

On this day, you will go to Muktinath temple. It is one of the most sacred Hindu temples in Nepal. But you will find a Buddhist priest in the temple, offering worship to Lord Vishnu. After that, you will explore nearby places including the Kagbeni village of Mustang Region. You will spend one more night at Jomsom.

Today, you will leave Jomsom after a warm breakfast. But, you are not going to Pokhara. You are going to stop at Lete for a night’s stay. But before that, you will go and explore Dhumma lake and nearby attractions.

Lete is also a beautiful village. Unlike in mustang, you will find some oak trees and greenery over here. However, you will be leaving Lete right after having some breakfast. You will reach Pokhara on this day. You will also stop at Tatopani to take a break from the long jeep ride.

You will be spending your night at Pokhara.

Today, you will visit various places in Pokhara. It includes World Peace Pagoda, Pudimkot, Mahendra, and bat cave, and boating at Phewa lake. If you still got time on your hand, you can roam around Pokhara city (only lakeside so that you won’t get lost). You will be spending your night at Pokhara.

Today you will return to Kathmandu but before that, you will visit Sarangkot and Bindhyabasini temple. You can choose to go to Bandipur to spend an overnight. Bandipur is also a beautiful village situated on the top of a hill station. Or else, you will return to Kathmandu and spend your night at Kathmandu.

This is a rest day for you. You can choose whatever you want to do or you can go wherever you want to go. If you want to have more sightseeing, then, you can choose to go to other UNESCO World Heritage Sites of the Kathmandu Valley. Though it wouldn’t be possible to visit all of them in a single day, we suggest you visit at least, Bhaktapur Durbar Square.

Or, you can extend one more day in your holiday and visit all 7 UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu. You will spend your night in Kathmandu.

This will be your last day in Nepal. Thus, before dropping you out at the airport, we will go to Bauddhanath stupa and share a final lunch/coffee with you. It will depend on your flight schedule.
